Over the past several months, the Long Beach Unified School District has received thousands of survey responses on how we can support our students prior to their return to school and throughout the 2020-21 school year. Beyond health and safety, three important priorities have been identified in the surveys: (1) academic support, (2) social-emotional learning and (3) student engagement and motivation. We ask for your thoughts on the practices that would be most effective in addressing these priorities.
Your feedback will be part of a budget engagement process that includes many opportunities for community input. It will also help inform the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan, a new state requirement. We are using Thoughtexchange® surveys so that everyone has a chance to share their ideas and understand what others think.
To participate, select the links below to offer your thoughts and then rate the thoughts that others have provided:
Student Engagement and Motivation Your participation is confidential, so no one will know who shared or rated which thoughts. Please come back often until Sept. 4, 2020 to rate new ideas.
