Create a city of letters with your name! Everything is better together! Let’s make a fun illustration with every little letter in your name. We will read "Every Little Letter" together, and create your own illustration characters using your name.

Authors & Illustrators Night is a marquee event at Lowell Elementary School, funded by PTA donations and facilitated by the hard work of PTA volunteers. This year's event is a product of the hard work of Lowell Parent and Event Chair Lisa Johnston Hancock.
Everything is better together! After a reading of EVERY LITTLE LETTER, students will bring alphabet letters into life by creating whimsical illustration and story around letters in their name or any words of their choice.
Joy Hwang Ruiz is an illustrator of several picture books including NYT best seller, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU’LL EVER KNOW, and the upcoming book TREASURE OF MEASURES. When she’s not making picture books, she’s teaches herself ukulele, and shares her snacks with her 8 & 4 yr old daughters. She lives in Ladera Ranch just a few steps away from the Public Library that feels like home.
