Reporting PTA and VIPS Service Hours
You can use the form below to quickly report the time you've spent working towards a PTA activity, program, event, or when you've been a VIPS in your child's classroom. Contact PTA Historian, Katy Jones historian@lowellpta.com with any questions.

Reporting Student Community Service Hours
This year, any student completing 1-99 hours of service will receive a PTA Volunteer Service Award. Those who complete 100+ hours will be eligible for the President's Volunteer Award. And all students who complete 20+ hours of service will be invited to an ice cream party in April 2012. Download the tracking form here.

Why we collect PTA volunteer service data:
- For our annual Unit Historian Report as stated in our bylaws
-For our tax exempt status as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, showing that at least one-third of our support comes from the public
-For advocacy, grant writing, and planning
What time you should include in service data:
- Planning, Prepping, and Implementation time
-Travel and Meeting time
-Communication time (phone, email, text...)
Paper-based service hour tracking:
- Alternate to using the online form at right, you may submit your hours by downloading this tally sheet and placing a completed copy into the "PTA Historian" folder in the school workroom
