As one of the major fundraisers of the year, we are really excited to get this event off to a running start! Look for Pledgestar envelopes and information in the weekly email blasts and in student folders starting October 2nd and 3rd. The first 250 students to send 10 Pledgestar emails will receive a special JAT water bottle!
Important Dates for Jog-A-Thon:
October 13: Swag Orders Due
October 26: Banner Sponsorships and Logo due
November 7: Pledges for Incentives due by the end of the day
November 8: Raffle tickets delivered to students; raffle prize “viewing” at lunchtime (morning for TK and Kinder)
November 9: THE BIG DAY!!!
Week of November 13: Popsicles delivered to the top fundraising classrooms in each grade; Fundraiser Party for individual students who raise at least $275; and Pizza Party with Mr. Lawson for the Top 10 Individual pledge earners
Calling All Parents: To help ensure that we have another successful event, we would love to get all of you involved! Do you own a business that would like to SPONSOR the event? Do you have close ties with a local business that would like to SPONSOR the event? We would love to HIGHLIGHT these businesses on our Jog-A-Thon Sponsor Banners that hang on the corner of Broadway and Nieto for all to see! It’s a great way to support the school and get a little advertising as well. A $500 Sponsor will have a personal banner hanging and a $250 Sponsor will be included on the shared banner. One of the big highlights for the students this year will be our RAFFLE PRIZES! Students will receive raffle tickets based on the amount of pledges they receive. And we have a couple of new “non- pledge related” ways to earn raffle tickets this year. The day before JAT, students will place their tickets in the boxes for the prizes they most want. The Jog-A-Thon Committee is looking for any amazing and fun donations for these raffle prizes. Some ideas from past events include: gift cards, movie tickets, electronics, sports equipment, books, iPad – any help is greatly appreciated!
In addition, there will be a GOLDEN TICKET raffle for a one-night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge! Students who raise at least $350 will receive one ticket into this raffle.

Jog-a-thon is an annual fundraiser that encourages kids to move and exercise. while raising money for our school. During Jog-a-thon, the school is transformed into a running track and each grade will run laps to raise money. Jog-A-Thin has grown to be one of Lowell’s strongest fundraisers; and earning pledges can be done via an automated program called PledgeStar. Start training for Jog-a-thon and get in shape to raise money for your school!!
