As Jog-A-Thon is one of our major fundraisers of the year, we are really excited to get this event off to a running start. The Jog-A-Thon helps fund many programs that are supported by the PTA. Some of these programs include: Upgrades in Technology and Technology Support, Meet the Masters Art Program, Lowell Learning Garden and Green Team, Book Fair, Playground Supplies, The Variety Show, and much more.

See below for information on setting up your Pledgestar account. All envelopes and money must be turned in NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH to be eligible for prizes. Any envelope turned in late will not be eligible for prizes. See back of pledge envelope attached for prize incentives.


If you have a family business or know of a local business that might be interested in being a sponsor, please contact us right away! Each sponsor will have their logo placed on a vinyl banner that will hang on the corner of Broadway/Nieto for several months. The requested sponsor donation is $250.00 for a shared banner and $500.00 for an individual banner. It’s a great way to support your business and Lowell Elementary. The deadline to submit your logo & monetary donation is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26th.


As the saying goes, “it takes a village….” And so does the JOG-A-THON! We need enthusiastic volunteers who are able to help out on EVENT DAY or be the JAT Room Rep in your classroom! It’s a great way to get to know other parents at Lowell, cheer on the students, and be a valuable asset to the event! There will be a Sign-Up Genius link available to view for volunteer days & times.

October 19th: Swag Orders Due

October 26th: Banner Sponsorships and Logo due! Download Sponsorship Form Here!

November 14th: Pledges for Incentives due by the end of the day

November 27th: Top 10 Pledge earners lunch hour pizza party in Library with Mr Lawson

November 29th: Opportunity drawing tickets delivered to students to place in prizes boxes at lunch for grades 1-5th and in the morning for TK-Kinder students.

November 29th: Popsicles delivered to top classrooms per grade

November 29th: Fundraiser party for students that raise $275 or more in pledges     **4:30-6:30 on Lowell campus

2018 Jog-A-Thon Co-Chairs

Jog-a-thon is an annual fundraiser that encourages kids to move and exercise. while raising money for our school. During Jog-a-thon, the school is transformed into a running track and each grade will run laps to raise money. Jog-A-Thon has grown to be one of Lowell’s strongest fundraisers; and earning pledges can be done via an automated program called PledgeStar. Start training for Jog-a-thon and get in shape to raise money for your school!!
