Come join our EARTH DAY Celebration in 2016. We will be hosting a party with some great activities including planting a Teacher Appreciation flower garden, crafts, and free green popsicles.
We will celebrate with others around the world the importance of recycling, using sources of clean energy like our solar bench, planting our own garden, reducing harmful chemicals in the air with our Car Free days, and other programs to keep our environment healthy and clean.
Did you know that our country had its first Earth Day Celebration in 1970, which lead to the first global celebration in 1990? Read more about the history of Earth Day at http://www.earthday.org/earth-day-history-movement.
